With over twenty years of experience working with children, adolescents, and their families in a variety of settings, William Henry understands their needs. Whether it be a desire for self-expression, for independence, validation, security, or the need for healthy relationships, Will understands that we all need to feel supported.
After graduating with a Master of Social Work degree from New York University, he spent seven dedicated years in a day treatment center and school where he worked closely with students and families facing significant mental health challenges. During this time, Will honed his skills in fostering secure attachments and nurturing healthy relationships—two critical elements for long-term emotional and social well-being.
Will’s approach is rooted in the belief that establishing these foundational connections as early as possible can make a profound difference in a person's life. His extensive work in a dynamic and challenging environment has equipped him with the expertise to guide individuals and families through complex emotional landscapes, helping them build resilience and strength.
As a seasoned psychotherapist, Will combines his deep understanding of attachment theory, developmental psychology, with evidence-based therapeutic techniques to create a safe, supportive space for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Whether working with children, adolescents, or adults, he is committed to helping his clients develop the tools they need to thrive both emotionally and socially.
